you guys can clearly guess what I’m going to be doing a tutorial on next :D
…i feel like i might be cheating on myself because what used to take me MORE than a couple minutes will take me mere seconds :P
we shall see how it goes ahah i still need to get the hang of it before i can post a decent tutorial lol

lazy day nails.
so guys I apologize in advance for the lack of actual nail art…in its place are my lazy day nails. I love using shatter polish when I feel too lazy/tired to go all out ahah, BUT I discovered a new trick!
I notice that any other shatter polishes I bought that were NOT OPI had a really lame crackle…but i realized when you put the crackle/shatter coat on while the base nail polish color was still kinda wet the crackle was OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! woooo-hooo
(for all my other crackle/shatter tips click here!)

AWWWW no prob :D I am SO glad you love it!!!

- ❥ Should I do WATERMELON or STRAWBERRY nails next??

hugs not drugs kids.
So as some of my superdupercool followers know, I work in a pharmacy, and thus I am able to look at an assortment of pills/capsules/tablets, and awesomely enough, some capsules have really cool color combinations, like this one:

SO, i totally did a scotch tape mani based on that wonderful pink and black…haha.
Basically to get those upside down letter V tips, you take your scotch tape and make a creation like so:

and you use each corner of the cross (4 corner = 4 uses) to make the black V’s first (let them dry) and then make the pink V’s on top of that!

P.S. The super awesome disco-ball silver is from F21, find it here!!
You have NO idea how much i wish it WERE real :( unfortunately it’s just some wonderful person’s creation.
But you never know…maybe OPI will somehow look at it and be inspired to make a collection…they did for Pirates of the Caribbean!

I know “It All Ends July 15” but I am NOT letting go, SO let’s celebrate with some Harry Potter inspired NAIL POLISH SWATCHES!!!!
TWO things I love unite
if these were real..i don’t even know what i would do
YOU sir are my new bestfriend.

and thanks :D

there’s a party on my nails & you are all invited.
Hey hey! So here’s a lickety split tutorial on these fun glittery and kind of trashy nail that I love regardless! Now all you need is a nice nail polish color, maybe a lovely turquoise like mine, and a VERY glittery nail polish…VERY glittery, as in the glitter in the polish is blinding in direct sunlight. But you have to make sure that the glitters are floating in CLEAR nail polish, or it will defeat the purpose by ruining the other nail polish color :(
Now my glitter nail polish is in the brand Milani and is called “Gems” It was SUCH a steal because it was only $5, where as Deborah Lippmann’s “Happy Birthday” (which is practically the EXACT same glitter) is $18!!!!!!!
1. Okay so basically all you do it throw on your base coat and then your shade of polish that complements the glitter and you let it all dry up nicely.
2. Next you take the glitter polish and with the brush it came with, spread a very thick amount on the tip of the nail.
3. Now take any old brush (i actually used one of those ones that came with water colors, from the Dollar Store) and start dragging down the polish little by little until you get a nice gradient effect.
ALL DONE.
now go have a party
xoxo sharen :D
